Queen's Cafe
Queen’s Café was first established in Hong Kong in 1952. Its founder Mischa Yu learned his culinary skills from Russian, and was one of old Shanghai’s best chefs of Russian cuisine. Mischa later moved to Hong Kong and started his own Russian restaurant and bakery which he named Queen’s Café, when it opened the same year Queen Elizabeth II was proclaimed. Its signature dishes such as Borscht, Zakuska, Beef Stroganoff and Baked Pork Chop Rice are not only Hong Kong's local delicacies, but also the collective memories of Hong Kong people.
