THE SOUTHSIDE | Guidelines of the cat/dog friendly passage

THE SOUTHSIDE shall allow pet cats and dogs to walk on the Cat/Dog Friendly Passage to facilitate Cat/Dog owners in borrowing Pet Stroller from our Concierge and subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By bringing your pet cats and dogs into THE SOUTHSIDE, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Only domesticated pet cats and dogs (“cat/dog(s)”) are permitted to enter the THE SOUTHSIDE. All other animals are prohibited, unless with the prior written consent from the management office.

2. Cat/dog(s) are permitted to walk on the cat/dog friendly passage but should remain on leash, which should not be longer than 1.5 meters in length. Medium or large dogs (over 40cm or weighing more than 20 kg) are also suggested to wear mask.

3. “Fighting dogs”, or other “known dangerous dogs” as classified under the Dangerous Dogs Regulation (Cap 167D) are not allowed to enter THE SOUTHSIDE and the cat/dog friendly passage.

4. Cat/dog Owners shall keep their cat/dog(s) under control effectively and shall take full responsibilities of its behaviors in order not to cause nuisance or danger to others and cats and dogs.

5. Cat/dog Owners shall keep the cat/dog friendly passage clean and hygienic at all times. Cat/dog Owners shall immediately clean up any fouls or urine the cat/dog(s) have deposited and shall use sealed bags, containers and/or tools for proper waste disposal. Management Office may request Cat/dog Owner to pay relevant cleaning charges for improper use of the passage.

6. All cat/dog(s) are required to be on a leash, and carried either by pet stroller, bag or be held in the other indoor areas of the mall, except guide dogs.

7. According to statutory requirement, cat/dog(s) are not allowed to enter restaurants or supermarkets (food business licensed areas). Offenders are liable to prosecution.

8. Management Office shall be under no liability or responsibility for any loss, injury or damage howsoever caused to the third party/pets through the use of the cat/dog friendly passage.

9. Management Office has the right to interpret these Terms and Conditions. In case of disputes, the decision of Management Office will be final and binding on all parties concerned.

10. The above cats and dogs guideline is except for guide dogs & dogs in connection with the exercise of a lawful power.
